Led by Madam Yao Xiaoman, the Chairwoman of CFDIA, 29 delegates of China down industry delegation visited to the factory of Toyo Feather Industry Co., Ltd in Shirakawa, Fukushima-Ken, and watched the fine washing line for down material and production line for beddings. Mr. Hiroshi Yanagiba, the President of Toyo Feather Industry Co., ltd together with the senior executive team welcomed China delegationmeanwhile introduced the processing technic of down production and quality philosophy of this company.

Established in 1954, Toyo Feather Industry Co., Ltd enjoyed a history of 63 years. As the top class manufacture, production, sale and research enterprise in Japan, this company has gained great reputation within domestic market and received wide recognition and welcome by consumers.

The staffs of Shirakawa factory introduced production sections such as raw material fine washing, feather and down testing, bedding production and sewage treatment to China delegation. The clean and tidy plant and excellent processing technic impressed all delegates deeply，who unanimously expressed that during this visiting, they not only found the difference of quality control between Japan and China down industry, but also harvested the confidence and market direction, developing high-end down beddings. Madam Yao concluded that: this visiting clearly indicated the gap and study orientation. The production of Down and its products should always keep on improving. Producers should emphasize on additional value increasing. Import than anything else, Quality must decide the market. What’s more, industry should enhance inner communication and information exchange, promote the capacity of enterprise operation and management, and make joint effort for the flourishing development for down industry.
