During JUL 20th – 21st, the preliminary reviewing meeting of standard revision for 4 bedding standards (QB/T 1193 Down & Feather quilts, QB/T 1194 Down & Feather mattresses, QB/T 1195 Down & Feather sleeping bags, QB/T 1196 Down & Feather cushion and pillows) was held in Nantong, Jiangsu province. This meeting discussed and reviewed draft standards for examination.

The standard drafting group reported the introduction to standard drafting, reply to revision comments and main reasons for main revised indexes. Experts and representatives carefully examined draft standards and offered constructive suggestions.

At the end of the meeting, Madam Yao Xiaoman, Chairwoman of CFDIA, expressed sincere gratitude to all exporters and representatives who devoted to the hard work of industrial standardization work. She also pointed that: the standard revision would accelerate and boost the promotion of down bedding industry, help companies’ quality and brand, more importantly, raise the popularity of domestic down bedding market.

The standard drafting group will continue to summarize all comments and conduct lab tests, and finish the revision work in short time.
