Export and Import

During DEC 2021, the total export amount of China down industry was about 240 million USD with 13% increase over the same period of last year. Among all items, the export amount of down garment was around 110 million USD, with 1.5% decrease, accounting for 47.6% of the industry’s total export amount.

The total import amount of down industry was 140 million USD with 117.4% increase over the same period of last year. Among all items, the import amount of down garment was about 120 million USD, with 118.8% increase, accounting for 84.8% of the industry’s total import amount.

According to the Administration for Market Regulation of Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, in JAN 2022, SHANYANG DOWN has been successfully approved as a Geographical Indication Trademark of China.

The approval will further promote the popularity of Shanyang down industry, help local farmers to increase their income, and promote the brand making and high-end development of Shanyang down industry.
