The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China (AQSIQ) updated “The List of Forbidden Entering Animals and their Products from Epizootic Disease Countries or Regions” (Link:http://dzwjyjgs.aqsiq.gov.cn/fwdh_n/jlgg/2013_14868/201501/t20150112_429982.htm) on January 12th, 2015. It has clearly stated that: The clean washed feather and down are not restricted by the factor of epidemic area of avian influenza. Therefore, the export of washed feather and down from the USA to China will not be prohibited at present. Also, the washed feather and down do not belong to the current list of restrictive poultry products from the USA.

Hereby, we ask the United States Department of Agriculture to permit the export of washed feather and down to China.
