Domestic Market

During JAN-OCT, the national down garment production had 0.43% increase over the same period last year. Total assets of down (feather) processing and products manufacturing increased by 11.40%, total profits by 65.27% and operating income by 16.02% over the same period last year.

Export & Import

In Nov, the total export amount of China down industry was 315 million USD, with 40.79% increase over the same period last year. Among all categories, the total export amount of down garment was 187 million USD, with 36.39% increase, which occupied 59.3% of the industry’s total export amount.

The total import amount was 128 million USD, with 55.47% increase over the same period last year. Among all categories, the total import amount of down garment was 106 million USD, with 58.58% increase, which occupied 83.22% of the industry’s total import amount.

Industry Cluster

On 20th Dec, CNILC and CFDIA jointly held the re-evaluation meeting of honorary title “Feather and Down Town of China” for Anxin County, Hebei Province. During the meeting, the review panel listened to the development achievements, existing problems and future industry plan of Anxin County, carefully reviewed the written material and communicated with the representatives. The review panel agreed to pass the re-evaluation and suggested that Anxin County, Hebei Province will be awarded the title of “Feather and Down Town of China". The re-evaluation proposal has been submitted to CNILC for final approval.
