The Experimental Result of 2022 Down Testing Comparison

Recently, CFDIA released the experimental result of 2022 down testing comparison. 54 third-party labs and 11 company labs obtained satisfactory results.

In order to encourage down testing institutions to continuously improve the level of testing technology, CFDIA has carried out comparative testing activities among testing institutions for many years.

In total 89 labs participated in this comparison, of which 62 were third-party labs and 27 were company labs. The comparison included 7 items: down cluster content, down fiber content, feather fiber content, oxygen number, fat and oil content, species and APEO content.

Liuqiao Group

January 5, Yi'an County people's government and Liuqiao Group held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony of goose industry integration project in Qiqihar City. The project plans to invest a total of 1 billion RMB to build a large-scale goose breeding base and goose biological products processing base. Promote Qiqihar City to build the largest goose down production and processing integrated industrial park in northeast China.

Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang

According to the Xiaoshan District Bureau of Statistics, during JAN-OCT 2022, the total export amount of down and products in Xiaoshan District was 3.788 billion RMB, with 23.9% decline compared to the same period of last year, accounting for 5.3% of the total value of Xiaoshan District's foreign trade export. The total export value of Xiaoshan down and products in October was 288 million RMB.

Gangnan District, Guigang City, Guangxi Province

The down industry is a traditional industry in Gangnan District. The total output value of the down industry increased from 300 million RMB in 2000 to 4.5 billion RMB in 2021. In 2021, the total output value of down industry above designated size was 3.25 billion RMB, accounting for 10.8% of the total industrial output value above designated size of 30.2 billion RMB. The export delivery amount was 7.4 million USD.
